Media technologists print use various machines and processes to produce print products. Advertising materials, newspapers, magazines, books or packaging are just a few examples. You analyze the print jobs for technical feasibility, check whether the print data is complete and usable and then produce the product. They also plan the workflow, check printing forms, some of which they also produce themselves, or prepare data for digital printing processes.

The profession of media technologist is very diverse and has different specializations. In addition to the media technologist printing with a focus on offset printing, you can also learn the profession of media technologist printing in digital printing with us. You should look at both professions live and in color with us to get your own picture.

We will teach you an eye for detail and a feel for paper and color, as well as using your technical interest to get the highest quality out of the machines and the product. You are welcome to bring creativity and accuracy with you and you should be enthusiastic about technical processes.

In your training as a media technologist for printing (m / f / d) you will be taught how to plan print jobs, set up the printing machines and navigate printing processes. You will also learn how to care for and maintain the machines. Once the printing is complete, you clean and check the machines used and replace worn or defective parts.
